WIGAN almost wrecked Colwyn Bay's hopes of promotion in the Littlewoods Gaming Liverpool Competition.

In one of the few games to beat the rain, Colwyn Bay declared on 209-7, but Wigan were bowled out just six runs short of their target, Graham Bolton top-scoring on 67.
