FAISAL Alfridi, Daisy Hill's Pakistani professional, is powering a late surge up the Bolton Association table.

He fired them to a maximum 40 points in last weekend's double action and will be looking to do the same at Clifton tomorrow and at home to Adlington on Sunday.

Alfridi followed his fantastic 10-29 at Standish with 9-39 in last Sunday's win over Golborne after sinking Lostock the day before with 54 not out.

Daisy Hill go into the weekend games in fourth place, 18 behind Darcy Lever who blew their title chance last Sunday when they were shot out for 58 by leaders Elton.

Elton have a day off tomorrow, leaving second club Atherton desperate to win their game in hand at Golborne in order to close a 28-point gap.

Elton are at home to Standish on Sunday when Atherton receive a Clifton side boosted by a return to form of young batting star Andrew Griffiths.
