ENGLAND are out of the Twenty20 World Cup because South Africa beat New Zealand by six wickets today.

Paul Collingwood's men needed the Black Caps to win that game to stand a chance of progressing to the semi-finals.

However, England would still have had to beat India in today's final game.

England are out and totally disgraced-one win in the series and that against Zimbabwe. When the team was originally selected,I wrote to 606 saying that,with that team,they had absolutely no chance,and events ,unfortunately,events have proved me right.Both Australia,and South Africa understand that one must play the best cricketers and not so called specialists in one or another types of the game,and we never seem to learn.
Latest joke in The Natal Mercury this morning:
A man goes to his Doctor and says,"Doc,I love cricket,but I can no longer bat,bowl or field-what can I do?". The Doctor responds " You are over reacting-take a weeks break and all will be well"
"Not possible",the man replies,"I'm playing for England tomorrow" !
