RICKY Hatton will make the 13th defence of his WBU light-welterweight title on June 5 in Manchester with Joe Calzaghe also set to fight Glencoffe Johnson for the IBF light-heavyweight title on the same bill.
Promoter Frank Warren has moved swiftly to arrange the Hitman's next fight just days after he blasted past Dennis Holbaek Pedersen to retain his crown at the MEN Arena on Saturday night.
Hatton was in devastating form as he stopped the Danish challenger - flooring him twice on the way to a sixth-round stoppage.
And he could now be in line for a clash with interim IBF light-welterweight champion Sharmba Mitchell.
The American also impressed in beating fellow American Mike `No Joke' Stewart on Saturday's undercard and he admitted afterwards that, if the money was right, he would be willing to return to take on Hatton later this year.
He said: "I'd love to come back over here and I'd also love Ricky to come the USA, but I'll fight anybody, any time.
He added: "I'm a fighter and I'm a champion. I'll go anywhere.
"Ricky is a very good fighter. He is learning all the time and every time I see him he does different things.
"He works hard, he wants to win and he doesn't want to disappoint his fans.
"We will have to sit down and talk about the dollars and the pounds and see if we can come to an agreement."
Who would you like to see Ricky face? Have your say.
