CALL it dedication to his work or just plain insanity - TV presenter Andrew "Barney" McHugh has willingly offered to spar with boxing champion Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton.

Andrew is interviewing Ricky for his Channel M boxing show Seconds Out, but once the niceties are out of the way, he'll step into the ring with Ricky to see if he can learn from the best.

He tells me: "I don't know how hard or easy he's going to go on me.

"Ricky is known for his body shots, but seeing as I've had a couple of broken ribs in the past I'd better watch out."
