The reports suggested that Tszyu, who retired on his stool at the end of the 11th round on a memorable night in the Manchester Evening News Arena, had suffered from bruising to his brain and from internal bleeding.
But the fighter's doctor Bill Anseline, refuted the claims, saying: "Categorically there was no bruising in or on Kostya's brain and it would be misleading for anyone to say so."
Meanwhile Amir Khan will perform his first-ever public workout at the Trafford Centre on July 2.
The Olympic silver medallist, who makes his professional debut in his home town of Bolton a fortnight later, will go through a training routine on the main stage in the Orient section of the shopping centre, alongside English welterweight champ Michael Jennings and WBU featherweight champ Stephen Foster junior - both of whom will also appear on the show in Bolton.
Jennings will begin the workout from 11am-noon, Foster from noon-1pm and Khan will take centre stage from 1pm-2pm.
