He will take on current belt holder, Scott Harrison, at the Manchester Evening News Arena on Friday, June 3, in front of a predicted sell-out 20,000 crowd.
And with millions set to savour the mouth-watering clash, to be screened live on Sky Sports and in the USA, Collyhurst-based Brodie is promising a blockbusting bout.
He said: "It's going to be a great fight and I believe I will become champion. I'm never in a dull fight.
"Scott Harrison has proved to be champion of the world but I believe I'm better. It's the biggest fight of my career - if I lose it could be the end of me.
"It's going to good fighting in front of my own fans and winning this will be a springboard to take me to the top."
Tickets go on sale from today from all usual outlets.
Sky Sports have given the bout top billing on their Friday Night Fight Live programme. It is scheduled to start after 10pm. Tweet
