PROMOTER Frank Warren today insisted Ricky Hatton's world title showdown with Vivian Harris would still go ahead.

The Hitman is due to take on WBA light-welterweight champion Harris at the M.E.N. Arena in October.

But negotiations were said to have hit a snag according to the American fighter's promoters, Main Events, with Warren rumoured to have cut Harris's purse by 25 per cent.

However, a spokesman for Warren said the fight was not in trouble.
