The funeral of Brian Dobson, the respected Manchester Magic basketball coach who passed away last Sunday, will take place on Wednesday, May 5.

A service will be held at Church of St Catherine, 217 Outwood Road, Heald Green at 2pm, followed by a cremation at the Crematorium, Southern Cemetery, Barlow Moor Road, Chorlton-Cum-Hardy at 3.20pm.

The wake will be held at the Village Hotel Cheadle.
