MANCHESTER Magic hotshot Josh Houghton poured in 31 points as England's Under 18 men completed a perfect preliminary round campaign in the European Championship B Division with an 88-79 victory against Portugal.

Youngster Houghton also pulled down four rebounds in 30 minutes of action, while Levi Noel had a 19 point, ten rebound double-double and added six assists.

Magic team-mate Lee Goldsborough chipped in with four points and five rebounds.

England topped their group and will face Holland on Wednesday before playing Macedonia a day later.
