CANARIAS Basketball Academy won Manchester Magic's third annual Haris Tournament.
The club's international under-18s event - held in the memory of former Magic player Haris Charalambous - attracted teams from England, Belgium, Switzerland and Gran Canaria, the winners.
The Academy, which is a hotbed of talent from all over Europe, beat England 78-75 in the final after three days of action at the Amaechi Centre.
A big crowd saw Canarias streak into a commanding early final lead only for England, led by the country's hottest young prospect Ryan Richards, to battle back to hold a one-point lead with only seconds left.
But with England needing to keep their cool - and possession - Canarias stole the trophy from their grasp.
Haris' parents, Kypros and Polly, presented the winners with their prize. Canarias' Stanley Dubois was named player of the tournament.
Magic's first team finished in third place with their under-age second team a battling eighth.
