My stop is at the start of the work-bound journey so I’m in the privileged position of always getting a seat.I pity the poor souls who need to board at Stretford further down the line – but not enough to stand up for them. They haven’t a hope of sitting down in the morning rush hour - even if they’re one-legged, one-eyed and one hundred.
