   Manchester Evening News, Tuesday 26 April 2011 Robert Stansfield, 25, lost control of his VW Golf in Hyde – about 15 minutes after being pulled over by officers in Hazel Grove, Stockport, at 1.45am. It is understood he had sped off pursued by police. Officers lost the vehicle, before the driver ploughed into the wall five miles away. Mr Stansfield was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
