Referees' boss Phil Morris suspended for 'concentration camp' jibe before Jewish league game

A referees'’ boss has been suspended after being found guilty by an FA panel of making a sick jibe about the Holocaust before a Jewish league match.

Phil Morris, referee appointments secretary at the Manchester FA, was disciplined over comments he was said to have made in a dressing room at Manchester United’s Carrington complex.

Two more arrests have been made in connection with an alleged attack on two teenagers which is being treated as a hate crime by police. A 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man have been held on suspicion of section 18 assault after the incident on Market Street at 10.15pm on February 4.
