The one-stop site for mothers at www.netmums.com/manchester already provides all the information any parent could need.
And now they want YOU to nominate that special woman in your life for a chance to be honoured as one of the top mums in Manchester.
Site editor Jeraldine Kennedy said: 'We know all mums are special - but there are some mums who are the real unsung heroes - going the extra mile, dealing with life's tough breaks, making life better one small step at a time.
'Public pat on the back'
'We want people to nominate anyone who they think fits the bill. It could be a friend, colleague, relative' someone you think deserves a bit of recognition and a public pat on the back.'
The award is open to all mothers who live in Manchester and have an 'M' postcode and entrants should include the name of the person they're nominating, why they deserve the award and a contact number for the nominee.
Since netmums started two years ago, more than 40 regional sites have started up. The sites, which are funded by Tesco's Baby and Toddler Group, are an impartial source of information with all information provided by parents.
One-stop site
The Manchester site has information ranging from schools and education advice to child entertainers and health care.
And having signed up to ManchesterOnline's free community site www.mymanchesteronline.co.uk, Jeraldine is hopeful that the site will become even more comprehensive.
'I set up on MyManchesterOnline as that's for community sites like ours and hopefully it will increase the number of people visiting netmums,' she said.
'I use ManchesterOnline anyway so know all about the site and I think it's an excellent resource.'
