Greater Manchester's hi-tech golfing experience - wedged between the M60 and the Trafford Centre - is set to swing into action.
The development carves out a huge green oasis amid heavy industry, concrete motorway and the sprawling shopping mall.
Customers will play shots onto a massive area, which includes greens, fairways, bunkers and a lake - just like a proper course.
Players can also practise their swing from driving bays or take part in a new computerised game designed for novices. A spokesman for the site, modelled on famous holes across the world, said: "It may not be a typical golf setting, but we believe it will be a huge success.
"There will be something for everyone from professionals to someone who's never played."
Architects, green-fingered experts and an army of workmen have spent months putting together the six-hole landscaped course, which is due to open within weeks. Professionals will offer tuition and video screens will play back swing actions and shots.
