THE city's leading actors took centre stage for the Manchester Evening News Theatre Awards.
Stars of Manchester's top theatre productions of the past year, including Pete Postlethwaite and the cast of Beauty and the Beast, were expected to attend the glittering ceremony, hosted by Dave Spikey at the Midland Hotel.
