A POLICE inspector arrested on suspicion of money laundering was sacked today after he was found guilty of misconduct.
Sikh officer Bal Singh, 39, was dismissed by Greater Manchester Police following an internal inquiry into claims of dishonesty.
Mr Singh was held in a dawn swoop at his home in Heald Green, Stockport, in November 2005.
He was questioned on suspicion of laundering and perverting the course of justice but no charges were brought by the Crown Prosecution Service.
Mr Singh joined the force in 1989 and was based mainly at Wythenshawe where he was a community inspector.
Discrimination
It is understood he played a key role in providing Asian cultural advice to forces across the UK.
He was suspended from duty following his arrest and later announced that he was taking GMP to an employment tribunal alleging racial discrimination.
Those proceedings were adjourned until the outcome of the disciplinary hearing which was revealed today.
A statement issued by GMP said: "Greater Manchester Police expects the highest professional standards from all officers and staff and any allegation of inappropriate behaviour is thoroughly investigated.
"A 39-year-old officer has today been dismissed from GMP after a misconduct hearing. Six allegations of dishonesty or behaving without integrity and one allegation of bringing discredit on the police service have been proved.
"The officer had been suspended from duty and now has 14 days to ask for the chief constable (Michael Todd) to review the findings.
"Due to the possibility of a review of the findings, GMP is unable to comment further."

Westwood - make mistakes? If its money laundering its hardly a mistake is it? Not like something that just slipped his mind... Do you even know what money laundering is? Probably not sunshine, "big up to Westwood" ARF!
If the cop was guilty then he should take the consequences. Shock horror, he pulls the race card out. Typical.

Do people really think the police bosses get together and say, "right, he's muslim, sack him and make some stories up about him!" Even with the terrorist raids, people actually think that the police say, "there's a muslim family there, go and raid their house, if the papers ask, say they are terrorists."
Come on people, wake up and smell the coffee.

They have been identified by the home office to be one of the worst when it comes to race issues.
I know about other cases they have handled badly when it's about asian staff.
Lets hope the tribunal basis its decision on facts and nothing else

I think this is like the old terrorism thing. Arrest everyone for something then find a something that will stick.
The whole thing stinks of a coverup!!

Thus his "key role in providing Asian cultural advice to forces across the UK", and a million other examples of ethnic concerns being acceptable, approved, and encouraged among minorities, yet pathologised, criminalised, and abused for majority ethnics.
It's a pattern that occurs across the West, but which is reversed in Africa and Asia where the majority peoples adopt policies of positive discrimination toward *their own people*.
