Family's tribute to biker son

THE parents of a 25-year-old biker who was killed in a crash with a car have paid tribute to him.

Neil Antony McCrakan was on Gigg Lane near to its junction with Manchester Road in Bury when he was involved in a collision with a Volkswagen Golf.

He was found collapsed nearby and taken to hospital, where he later died.

Neil, from Bury, leaves his 22-year-old brother Stewart and his parents, Angela and Donald, who said that he was a `caring' and `reliable' young man.

They added: "He was well liked by friends, neighbours and all who knew him."

Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident on Wednesday to contact them on 0161 856 3572.

RIP from a fellow biker all my best to the family

He wasn't actually involved in a collision with the VW Golf. He came off the bike, and the car hit the bike after it had skidded down the road.

Neil was a good lad and all who knew him will miss him terribly. I suspect that the church will be packed for his funeral.
