POLICE are hunting a robber who held up a WH Smiths in Manchester's Piccadilly Station with a golf club.

The thief went up to the counter, hit a cashier on the arm with the club and fled with money from the till.

The attacker was white and slim. He was wearing a blue top with the hood up and a red bandana across his mouth. Police are appealing for witnesses. Tweet
