AN ELDERLY woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a tram this afternoon.
The woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary after being hit outside Burger King on Mosley Street, Piccadilly Gardens, at 1.33pm.
Services were temporarily disrupted.

Out of interest, I look forward to the MEN reporting on all other traffic accidents that involve 'minor injuries' that have been caused by buses and cars since I'm sure they are not wanting to sensationalise tram accidents are they?
