YOUNG soccer players got themselves a new kit - and playing tips from one of the top men in the game.
Manchester City boss Kevin Keegan went to Piper Hill School in Northenden, to meet youngsters who won a competition run by the English Federation of Disability Sport.
Kevin presented the youngsters with a team kit supplied by the Barclaycard Free Kicks programme.
And they had a half-hour coaching session from the Blues manager, a chance to watch City's first team training and had photos taken with their Premiership heroes.
Piper Hill is a school for young people with severe learning disabilities.
In a recent soccer tournament they were runners-up, but were the only team without a proper strip.
Premiership sponsor Barclaycard is promoting social inclusion through its Free Kicks project.
Kevin said: "The Federation of Disability Sport does a lot of fantastic work and it was really a pleasure to meet the youngsters. I hope their new kit will inspire them to even greater things on the pitch.''
Gill Huggon, of the federation, said: "The children now have their kit, have seen the City players in action, and met one of the game's most famous faces on what was a great day for them.''
Barclaycard sponsorship director Nic Gault said: "We were really pleased to be able to help."
