George Best is 'better'

SOCCER legend George Best is battling back to health, his agent said.

The former Manchester United and Northern Ireland star has spent three weeks in the private Cromwell Hospital in west London after being struck down with an infection.

He had a life-saving liver transplant in 2002.

Reports at the weekend raised new fears over Best's health.

His agent said the 59-year-old was recovering, but added that he would remain in intensive care for a few more days yet.

I saw a George Best documentary showing his extra-ordinary display of skill and he struck me as one footballer that really enjoyed doing what he knew BEST.

I was wow! he appears better than Pele! For me George Best was the un-official greatest footballer of all times.

Lets give it to him, he was simply terrffic!

May his superb soul rest in peace, adieu! George Best.
