Beckham boy in new health scare

DAVID Beckham's three-year-old son Romeo is believed to have been re-admitted to hospital afetr suffering convulsions for the third time in three months.

It is understood the England captain spent last night with Romeo and wife Victoria as his son was kept in for tests.

Romeo had also been rushed to Madrid's La Paz Hospital on Saturday, when Beckham was pictured cradling him with Victoria outside the emergency ward.

Romeo was reportedly released after tests to rest at home, but it is understood he was admitted again yesteday after a recurrence of the convulsions.

A La Paz Hospital spokesman denied Romeo was being treated there.

Rushed

The latest drama was understood to have been the third time in two months that Romeo had suffered convulsions.

It is believed Victoria rushed Romeo to Harlow's Princess Alexandra Hospital in August after he had a similar problem at their Hertfordshire home.

Then, he was kept under observation and released a few hours later. Romeo's latest health scare meant that David today missed the start of preparations for Saturday's World Cup qualifier with Austria at Old Trafford.

The midfielder was given permission to stay in Spain by England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson while his team-mates trained at Carrington. He was expected to join the squad later today.

Eriksson said later: "I haven't spoken to him about it, but I think he will be OK and hopefully he won't have any worries about what is happening in Spain."

Oh no! I may only be 11, but David Beckham is my idol, and he's my favorite celebrity. I don't know what a convulsion is, but it seems awful! I can't believe what is happening! Good luck to you, David, Victoria, Romeo, and good luck to Brooklyn and Cruz also. Be strong for you brother!-That goes for Mommy and Daddy too!
