But you'd be amazed, class sizes are over 30 but the results are out of this world and in fact its the best performing school in the french league tables. Discipline is very good which half the reason for the success.
On the food front the kids love it, yes once a week theres pizza or chips or something but the rest of the time its excellent, having seen the menu I'd eat there myself. The kids love it and the teachers make sure they eat and drink properly during meals.
I am sure their budget must be more than 40p per head but there are 3,000 children there so the argument that you can't do good food in big schools is rubbish.
I suggest Tony and his cronies get down there and have a look.
Then again they may well be out of a job by then.

I have watched with interest the Jamie Oliver programs and believe it to be a really great idea that someone has actually decided to say at last enough!! Lets give the kids some good food to eat to see them through the learning day. Its a well know fact that the brain thrives on good food better than it does on junk.
When my grandchildren finally do come along, hopefully they at last should be well catered for!!
