Once again the British legal system is shown to be a sham. This case proves if you have got money you will get away with it. I was caught speeding by the same mobile speed camera on the same stretch of road (50mph in 40mph zone) and as I cant afford a fancy solicitor I accepted my punishment.
This kid didnt even have an MOT which also means no insurance - but he has money to avoid prosecution. They should have threw the book at him. (and yes I am actually a City season ticket holder)
Could we have an explanation why the prosecutor asking the traffic policeman, was he using an "approved" monitoring device contaminated the court proceedings & either you have an MOT or you don't. So why was this thrown out ?
Just what is going on...your either speeding doing 72 in a 40 or your not....and not having an MOT is either factual or not...these sports star will get away with murder one day..and the public don't like it...
These magistrates should hang their heads in shame. What would have been wrong in ordering a retrial.
Bloody marvellous isn't it!
Even though he may have been speeding and not carrying an MoT, i'm glad he has had the case overthrown as he will soon be a fantasic newcomer to premiership football ready to WOW us as did his father, and he is supebly fit too
