Chezney on tour with his cig song

A BOY of 12 who penned the anthem for No Smoking Day is to embark on a tour across Britain helping others to quit the habit.

Chezney Davis wrote a song to stop his mother smoking because of the history of cancer and heart disease in the family.

But what started out as a plea to his mother, Lianne Hall, is now to be used as a national theme tune for No Smoking Day and will appear on national TV chatshows and radio stations.

Chezney, of Stalybridge, will tour Britain in a musical education campaign for no-smoking charities.

His mother's ongoing battle to quit is also being made into a video diary to inspire others.
