A 40-year-old man has been arrested following reports of a sexual assault in Manchester city centre in the early hours of this morning.

Police were called to Hart Street, at around 3am following allegations a woman had been sexually assaulted.

The man was arrested nearby and remains in police custody. Inquiries into the incident are ongoing. Tweet
