Troubled Manchester United starlet Ravel Morrison steps into Twitter storm after being left on the bench

Ravel Morrison

Manchester United bad boy Ravel Morrison appeared to launch a scathing attack on the club on twitter – and was then slammed by Wayne Rooney.

In a stunning outburst the wayward 18-year-old starlet vented his frustrations on the social networking site after being left on the bench for a Reds reserves match.

He wrote: '**** take' before following that up with 'I can not waite till the end of the season'.

Word of Morrison's rants spread rapidly across the internet before Rooney, himself no stranger to a Sir Alex Ferguson rollocking, responded: 'might come sooner than you think!!!!'

Morrison later hit back: 'what do you mean :/' before claiming he had been misunderstood.

The rant is the latest controversy to hit Wythenshawe-raised Morrison, who is widely tipped to become an Old Trafford star.

He was spared jail in May after his second conviction in four months.

In January, Morrison pleaded guilty to witness intimidation and was warned he would be locked up for a year if he was convicted of another offence before the end of 2011.

But just four months later, he escaped with a fine at Salford magistrates’ court after admitting criminal damage following a bust-up with his girlfriend.

And in July Morrison was quizzed by police after being accused of visiting Pendleton College, which is attended by the teenage witness who Morrison admitted to intimidating in a separate case.

In later tweets the midfielder claimed he 'never said anythink bad about the club' and added he was looking forward to going on holiday at the end of the season with his family.

United's Reserves won the match, played at Altrincham's Moss Lane ground, beating Everton's second string 2-0.

Yet another little boy who is getting too big for his boots.

The boy has all of the talent in the world in his feet but none upstairs.

The ONLY reason he is not a 1st team regular by now is because of his poor attitude. If he sorts that out, then he is nailed on to become a World star. Anyone who has ever watched him play can see this a mile off.

But apparently last week he had a run in with Berbatov in training and is not intrigating well with the 1st team. Lets just pray Fergie can sort him out and bring him through. It would be criminal if he wasted his enormous talent.

How he never started for the reserves was a joke, although be very careful son about what you say and who it is about. You may think that the people you know are tough but be wary of upsetting Sir Alex and more importantly us the fans.
Get some proper advice lad.

He would have to be as good as Messi for it to be worth putting up with him. Or maybe better than. Would expect SAF/United to put up with too much more of him and his antics.

Such a sense of entitlement, Fergie has let bigger stars than him walk away.

Is this a story?

somebody, close (friend or family), should have a quiet word with the lad before it is to late!

Ravel who?. What is it with these clowns.

He has had numerous chances and people have 'bent over backwards' to help him because of his potential. Question is, is he as good as Park!!!!

This lad is destined to throw all away with his poor attitude off the pitch. Any one who has seen him play knows he has the talent. It appears that he thinks he's made it already,he hasn't. If he's not careful, he will be shown the door soon.

Get rid...no time for prima donnas or those who think they are better than the club...he´ll probably end up playing for HM 11 before too long!

What a waste of talent!
I'm a blue but here is another very talented kid throwing it all away.He will never be a 'great' as his attitude stinks.
Done on 2 occasions for witness intimidation!! There is only one place this kid is going, and its not to the very top of his profession.

As bad boys go this guy is just an economy class Mario Balotelli.

Ravel, you'll never achieve cult status like Mario if your antics don't extend much beyond rowing with your girlfriend and whinging like a 12 year old on some chavvy social networking site. Plus of course it also helps if you are a bit tasty in and around the twelve yard box, which you clearly aren't.

Can't disagree with your comments about United though mate. i wouldn't be happy either if I was on the books of such a badly run club.

Six one in your cup final!

Already got one eye on his holiday at the end of the season in November? Hardly suggests that he's got what it takes to be a dedicated pro, and this is United's academy golden boy, prodigy star of the future!?!
