THOUSANDS of wildlife sleuths are being recruited to look at the effects of climate change on wildlife.
The BBC and Woodland Trust are running the Springwatch project to see how nature is responding to global warming.
A nationwide network of volunteers is being asked to record their first sightings of six species ' including bees, frogs and butterflies ' this spring.
The survey results will be in a new BBC 2 series, Springwatch.

Incidentally, we seem to have an almost black frog living there too - is this a common or garden frog or something a little more exotic/
