Passengers are facing delays after a Metrolink tram broke down in Manchester city centre.
The tram came to a stop after a line power failure on Market Street.
It caused disruption for passengers travelling between Victoria and Piccadilly train stations and to onward stops.
A six-minute service is operating on the Altrincham and Bury lines with a service every 12 minutes on the Eccles-MediaCity line.
Delays have also been reported on the new South Manchester line.
Metrolink apologised and said services were due to resume later this afternoon.
