You need to see also the fantastic effort by everybody here to get cleaned up in 4 days it is amazing.
If anybody has booked holiday to come to Phuket please do no cancel the local people need you more than ever.
The aid does not go to them but by you spending cash here will help them because also the locals have been terrific, I was there when the second wave hit the beach.
On the island anywhere 200 metre's from the beach is safe and was not affected.

am writing in regards to the Tsunami disaster in Srilanka. We all have been watching the horror on CNN, SKY News, BBC News & ITV News since the sunday the 26th Dec as thousands of people died & homeless. We are so sad to note that as there are more than 8000 tamils in Northern and Eastern part of Srilanka died, none of the media has telecasted this part other than the southern part of Srilanka. Our people are suffering without food, water, clothes or temporary shelter. None of the international aids had reached them till date. Could you please do something about this and send journalists over to these places and let the rest of the world knows how these people are suffering and longing for their needs. If you need further information, please contact either the following televisions or the websites. TTN - France, Deepam - London, Vectone-London...www.whitepigeon.co.uk, www.tvttn.com pls acknowledge a reeipt of this message.
Thanks a lot

I have been unable to find out any details of their safety.
I have also been unable to verify if Bali was hit by the wave.
If anyone has any information please contact me by e-mail as soon as possible. Thank you.
