The star, 22, who plays Tina McIntyre in the soap, beamed with delight when she saw the canvas, based on Leonardo Da Vinci's iconic portrait.
It was created to promote an exhibition at the Museum of Science and Industry, in Manchester, which runs from now until next summer.
Da Vinci - The Genius exhibition brings Leonardo's inventions to life and explores the stories behind his drawings, paintings and sketches.
Michelle was so smitten with her picture she wanted to take it home and hang it on her wall.
But it is likely to remain with the museum during the duration of the show.
