X FACTOR reject Emma Chawner failed to make it third time lucky when she faced the judges again in Manchester.
Millions of viewers will tonight see the former trainee hairdresser try to impress Simon Cowell with an extra trick up her sleeve.
Emma, 20, turns up to sing with her sister Samantha, as they tell the four judges: "Together we're Sister Act."
And then goes on to explain to Simon, Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh how she and her family were evicted from their home in Ramsbottom.
Along with her parents, their dog, cat and pet bird, the sisters spent seven weeks living in the family car after neighbours complained about their late night karaoke sessions.
But just before Christmas, they moved in to a new rented home in Blackburn, having slept in service station car parks and outside a supermarket in Bury.
Emma tells the judges: "Since I auditioned on The X Factor it's been bad and good really. We got evicted from home - we had to live in the car for seven weeks with the cat, the dog and a bird.
"We did used to sing a lot in the car, though. I think we've got what it takes to win The X Factor, especially with my sister with me."
Simon then asks her: "Are you saying you were evicted because of your singing?" Emma answers: "Yes."
Before performing Whole Again by Atomic Kitten, she adds: "I've learned I can sing better with my sister than on my own."
Simon's verdict? "It was arguably twice as bad as before."
Emma replies: "You're not going to stop me." "But Emma you can't sing," protests Simon. "I just think you should give us a chance," says Emma.
"But a chance to do what?" queries Simon. "Improve," she tells him. "We have weeks not decades," he sighs.
Cheryl says: "You're definitely more confident with your sister but nothing else has improved much."
While Simon has a final message: "Right girls, this is it. Never, ever, ever again - it's a no."
Emma first auditioned for The X Factor in 2007, wearing a dress made by her father, and was also rejected last year, vowing: "I'll be back."
She subsequently appeared in last December's live final, joining a line-up of memorable acts from the last five years.
The X Factor returns to ITV1 at 7pm tonight. (Sat)

I mean what does it say about you if you achieve a cheap thrill watching people with ZERO talent making fools of themselves?it is really lazy tv making and only helps to serve the bank balances of people like Cowell & Piers-Morgan.

Also we know now that the X factor likes a good sob story..is that why the tale of eviction was thrown in the ring?? the family need to re-attend school because they are not learning from their mistakes!!!!

“I personally have sympathy for the people who watch these type of shows.”
How patronizing of you to offer your sympathy for people who watch this type of show, yes its lazy television but that doesn’t make it bad, people who work all week want something amusing to sit down and watch at the weekend.
If you don’t watch it then fine but please don’t judge other people who enjoy it, it would be a sad world if we all liked the same thing.

watching people who can't sing, or can sing covers, has lost it's appeal.we need a song writing competition if anything .

I quite agree stop putting her on the show and in the newspapers
…..but it wouldn’t surprise me if the shows producers actually invited her on and even sent a car to get her, after all it does get people talking about the show doesn’t it

my mime problem with this type of program revolves around two main points;
1) that people actually grave enjoyment by watching "artists" with no talent make utter fools of themselves,a mindset in my view of bull fighting and the Roman coliseum.
2) the fact that people with talent are rejected before the televised rounds so that dross can be shown and therefore produce and ENTERTAINING show, hey after all all those millions of viewers can not be wrong can they?

Afternote: Her sister has a beautiful face. If she lost a load of weight I'm sure she'd have a whole new life ahead of her.

I think these reality shows have run their course. Look at BB, it gets nowhere near the viewing figures it once had. The same will happen with X Factor.
