I just made a jocular comment on the other story about a scrote getting 5 years, for carrying a shotgun and drugs. The Det Con's comment made me laugh, and i understand they can not for PC reasons say it as it is. Same applies here Det Con Lucy barnes can not say it as it is. So I will! When the filthy low life scum that purpertrated this abomnable act of cowardice are caught. And you will be, then we will see how big and hard you are, amongst the criminal fraternity that still looks upon this kind of crime, as taboo. I hope this poor old man makes a quick recovery and that the local community, will show him that there are people who will help and care for him, and not to be afraid to go out. I might add there are despite many bad comments on here about Wythenshawe lots of really great old school decent people living there. If the small criminal element of that area knows any of these scrote bags? D the right thing throw them in.

Very brave of the wythy scum attacking a 70 year old with machetes and baseball bats, and Laura Norder tells me my Iranian style punishment is too extreme, too extreme my a**e, if Irananian came to wythenshawe the population would halve overnight as there are that many low lifers, criminals, OAP Beaters, benefit cheats, Personal Injury fakers, etc etc etc etc , they would run out of ropes to hang them. I would also swing a few of the silly Judges who give out pathetic sentences too , this would shake up the sentencing problem, because mark my word when these feral rats are caught and they will be they will get a joke sentence, why not get them on the moors and make them work 14 hours a day 7 days a week building the next 5 maximum security jails each holding 5000 inmates, feed them the bare minimum, one visit every 3 months and no TV, MP3, DVDS, PS3, 2 or 1, no stereos,phones, moby's ipods, gyms, etc etc this way they might just learn that prison is a form of punishment.

The snide network is everywhere. There are some I agree that are not as bad as this. They respect old people, women and children to a degree.As I do. They still unfortunately have mob mentality . Many places like wythenshawe and Stretford has decent people. If some of the snides had a bit less insecurity problems of the past might be resolved but they need to get rid of their bull. I am sure this mans life is broken unless the snide network does something to help.

Gangs have always walked the streets intimidating people, it's primeval. the problem is that nowadays they can push the boundaries to extreme crimes, knowing they will get away with it.

We need a physical barrier returning to stop the majority of them crossing i.e. corporal and capital punishment and real prison sentences for minor crimes such as hard labour, not weeding a railway station wearing high vis vests, I mean working in quarries breaking rocks in all weathers or cleaning rubbish from the sides of motorways or canals etc.
