UNITED star Wayne Rooney revealed his damaged ear for the first time when he joined team-mates at Manchester airport.
The striker, 23, had kept his left ear covered with a baseball cap in public since slipping on a luxury yacht in the French Riviera last month.
Rooney needed a local anaesthetic and multiple stitches for the injury.
But the ear was on show when he arrived for the team's flight to Malaysia for a tour of Asia.
About 50,000 fans are expected to watch United play their first game against Malaysia on Saturday. The tour will also take in Indonesia, Korea and China.
