A MAN has appeared in court charged with a series of sex attacks.

Stuart Hulme, 29, of Councillor Lane, Cheadle, appeared before magistrates in Stockport, charged with four counts of sexual assault, attempted rape, exposure, threats to kill and two assaults.

He was remanded in custody.

Police said the charges related to incidents in the Stockport area between May 2008 and July 2009 against alleged victims ranging from 18 to 87 years old.
