A MAN escaped with minor injuries after he was hit by a bus in Manchester city centre.
The 41-year-old was taken to hospital as a precaution after the accident at the junction of Corporation Street and Balloon Street.
IT worker Vinod Mistry, 29, who arrived at the scene just after the accident, said: "By the time I got there the ambulance and the police were there. It looked serious."
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "The man was taken to hospital with minor injuries."
