BOLTON North East David Crausby’s mortgage claims soared by £400 last year.
It is thought he increased his mortgage to refurbish his kitchen and bathroom. His mortgage claims increased from around £900 in December to £1,331 in January and February of 2008.
He also claimed almost £500 a month on repairs, insurance, security and maintenance but did not provide any receipts giving details of what the cash was spent on.
His bills also include around £165 for cleaning.
His claims include £1.50 for window cleaning at his constituency office, £2.99 for tissues and 69p for rubbish bags.
