A WOMAN aged 18 has been stabbed after an argument.

Police were called to Assheton Road, Newton Heath.

The victim suffered minor slash wounds and cuts to her head and arms. She was taken to hospital but has since been allowed home.

A girl of 16 was arrested on suspicion of wounding and remains in custody for questioning.
