The classic cars were making their way to a rally in the Museum of Transport in Boyle Street.
The annual event - the Winter Indoor Rally - is organised by the Manchester branch of the Morris Minor Owners' Club.
Among the exhibitors was Ramsbottom-based Jim Ackers, who attended the event with his 1962 Minor 1000 convertible.
He said: "There was an excellent turn-out among owners and because it was a nice day there were more spectators than in previous years. I've been coming to this for quite a few years now and it really is quite a sight to see all these Morris Minors in their glory.
"The cars have immense public appeal for a number of reasons.
"To many, it's their engineering which makes them exceptional - while other people simply find them cute."
