This year's famous foodie guide has withdrawn the single star previously awarded to Juniper in Altrincham, because the restaurant changed hands last year and the new owners have not yet been reviewed to see if standards have been kept up.

Juniper boss Michael Riemenschnieder is confident his eaterie will regain its coveted Michelin star once the reviewers find time to sample his wares.
