A PENSIONER was left with a fractured collarbone after he was beaten in his own home by a robber.
The thief forced his way into the 67-year-old's home in Tonge Moor, Bolton, at 10.20am on Tuesday, and demanded cash.
When the man handed his money over the offender punched him in the face.
The offender was white, in his early to mid 20s, 5ft 7in, and of slim build. Detectives believe he was not alone as more than one man was seen leaving the scene.
Det Sgt Denise Pye said: "This is a shameful crime on a vulnerable person, and we are doing everything that we can to get those responsible before they attack again. We believe that there are more people out there who can assist our inquiries."
She is appealing for anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161 856 5609 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
