A WIFE has made an emotional appeal to find her missing husband.

Dad-of-two Nazam Iftikhar, 27, disappeared from his home in Longsight on December 6th after hearing that his father had fallen ill.

Police are concerned for Nazam's safety and his wife Tania said the disappearance was completely out of character.

She said: "He had just received bad news about his father being sick but we are sure he has not gone abroad. His mother has not heard anything from him.

"We are very worried about him. Me and the kids are devastated and are desperate for him to come back home."

Nazam, who has two daughters aged two and five years, is of Pakistani origin and is 5ft 8ins and of medium build.

He was last seen wearing black jeans and a red t-shirt.
