HOLIDAYMAKERS faced two hour delays at Manchester Airport this morning after a failure of check in systems.
Passengers due to fly with Thomas Cook and Jet2.com arrived to find queues snaking outside Terminal One after computers used by ground handler Menzies failed at 4am.
A total of 13 flights were delayed as staff checked in passengers and baggage manually.
They included nine operated by Thomas Cook and four by Jet2.
Beverley Hills, from Macclesfield, said: "We started queuing at 6.30am for our 8.25am flight and it's now gone 9am.
"The queue started outside and we've been around the terminal, with the view changing very slightly every couple of minutes.
"We're due to fly to Greece and our take-off has been delayed so we've been told we'll still catch our flight."
Passengers due to fly from Manchester today are being advised to arrive as normal as the backlog is steadily being cleared, although the computers are still down."

Shouldn't this say "Beverley Hills from 90210"?
