Liam doesn't want a roll with it

LIAM: Quiet life
OASIS star Liam Gallagher has been banned from London's Groucho club after setting off a fire extinguisher in a row with footballer Paul Gascoigne.

Liam saw red when he was having a bowl of soup at the celebrity hang-out and Gazza quipped: "Do you want a roll with it? Do you want a roll with your soup" - referring to the 1995 Oasis hit, Roll With It.

Liam said: "It was like `Grow up.' So I squirted him with a fire extinguisher. I got banned. It was a joyous day and I won't be back. I don't move in them circles any more."

The singer says his hell-raising days have been replaced with family life, which involves going to bed at 10pm, morning jogs and taking his children to school. He said: "I'm up at 6am, me. When the alarm goes, I'm up, have a coffee and out.

"I run about eight miles a day. Get the papers, sit down, read 'em, get the kids up, walk 'em to school, get back and see what's going down. See what's on, go and have something to eat, then pick 'em up. It's pretty much like that, nothing radical."

At night, he is content to let elder brother Noel be out on the town alone.

He said: "Our kid hangs around with all these strange people with long hair, Russell Brand sorts, and that's just not my cup of tea.

"I think Noel and his missus enjoy the high life, while me and my missus don't these days. I guess he's getting old, so he's got to get it out of his system."

The Burnage-raised singer said of the new Oasis album Dig Out Your Soul: "Whether it's groovy or not groovy, it's just gotta be good. I sound like me and that's all I care about."

The worst band ever to have come out of the North West. How did you get away with it Liam??

He's very false/plastic. The talk, the walk, the attitude. He's well forgotten his roots as I don't know many Burnage lads who act like him.

'run 8 miles a day.' Come on, Liam, you've got to do the Manchester 10k next year. Sorted...

Rather him than the pretentious prats out there now. Nothing wrong with Oasis.

One of the most irritating, untalented, unpleasant, unnattractive, jumped-up, ridiculous, swaggering idiotic people to come out of Manchester since ... Terry Christian. The Manchester accent is put on too.
