Craig, Richard and Mark still live in Prestwich and Guy and Pete have moved just down the road to Manchester.
They recorded and produced their album in their own practice area at Blueprint Studios, in Salford.
And they continue to champion local causes - fighting threats to close Bury Met arts centre where they performed regularly during their early days.
They also championed the cause of the maternity unit at Fairfield Hospital, in Bury, where Guy was treated when he was born.
Mark's son Kai Ellis, Craig's son Reuben, and Richard's son Dillon, were all born at Fairfield over the last six years and they all spoke out against the possible closure of the baby unit saying they would have found it difficult to manage without local maternity care.
Guy said: "I would not have survived without this hospital. It's not just dangerous to move this care, putting babies' health in jeopardy - it's about the people living in Bury having an important local service here - not in another town.
"This is going to disillusion potential families. If the service is taken away, some may choose to buy property near to a hospital with maternity care."
Guy also teamed up with local singer Liam Frost to perform at a concert to save Prestwich Arts College.
