The 2000 Olympic gold medallist has been training at Moss Side Fire Station ahead of his big fight against George Arias. Audley will take on the Brazilian at the M.E.N. Arena in the most crucial fight of his career.
Tomorrow's contest is a must-win bout for the 36-year-old in his pursuit of a world heavyweight title.
And where better to gain that extra spark than alongside Manchester firefighters who risk their lives every day in the line of duty.
Audley has been training at a gym set up by firefighters for Moss Side youngsters, thought to be the first of its kind in Britain.
The gym is designed to provide a safe environment to learn boxing techniques and educate young people about fire safety and the dangers of attacking firefighters.
Audley is among a host of top boxers who have visited the gym, including Amir Khan, Ricky Hatton, David Haye and Jamie Moore.
He has vowed to be a champion next year.
