A FOURTH man has been released on bail after being quizzed by detectives in connection with an attack at a taxi rank.

Martin Brammall, 25, of Offerton, suffered serious head injuries and remains in a critical condition in hospital after being attacked on London Road, Hazel Grove, on August 16 following a night out with friends.

A 26-year old man arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent has now been released on police bail.

Three other men, all aged 20, are also on police bail after being questioned in connection with the incident.
