A MAN is fighting for his life after being found unconscious in a street.

The 25-year-old was discovered on Mason Street, Bolton, following reports a man had been assaulted close to the Aldi supermarket. 

He is in intensive care in hospital, where his condition is described as 'serious'.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
